V-ROD SUPERCHARGERG-Force Division chose to use a Rotrex c-30-74 supercharge unit for the V-Rod supercharge kit. It is a very quiet blower with its own self-contained pressurised oil system. Its boost pressure range is greatly adapted for motorcycle use, so it makes it a great choice between a turbo and a twin screw supercharge. More >
At idle and low rpm, boost is not necessary, so that's why boost starts to climb from 2000 rpm and up. Driving, the boost level and power is very leaner with the rpm so the throttle response is instant. The driver always has complete control of the power he wishes to deliver. At cruising speeds, you have approximately 40 % of the total available boost at your disposition so the increase of the power is already present. As you twist the throttle, the rpm climbs, the bike needs more power, the belt driven supercharger spins quicker, the boost continues to rise and full potential is attained at 8000 rpm and up. If you bring the rpm up and high in 1st gear, you will have full power available for the next gears applied. Stage 1: The kit is installed on a stock engine with no modifications necessary. The pulleys supplied will give you 7-psi boost to bring you from 106-rear wheel hp to 140-rear wheel hp. Stage 2: We recommend installing low compression pistons as well as carillo connecting rods. You then may change the pulley ratio to run at 10-psi boost to go from 106-rear wheel hp to 162-rear wheel hp. Stage 3: Call for more info on 200+ hp v-rod.
